ShowMe Campers & Boats presents the SpikeIt Outdoors N2IT Fall Hibernation Classic - October 7th, 2007

The SpikeIt Outdoors N2IT Fishing Fall Hibernation Classic presented by ShowMe Campers & Boats finished off the inaugral year of the N2IT Fishing Buddy Bass Series in fantastic fashion. The fishing was tough for several teams, but others reported catching a lot of fish throughout the day. What a great day for fishing though, as 14 of the 19 teams entered had free entries into the classic. The team of Harry Thompson and John Porter brought in a huge stringer weighing 22.12 lbs for a huge payday. Their nice catch won them the ShowMe Campers & Boats/SpikeIt Outdoors 1st place check for $1245, the $500 ShowMe Gold Bucks check and the Madden Taxidermy Big Bass Award of $302 + a $50 Gift Certificate toward taxidermy work for there 6.26 lbs pig. The ShowMe Camper & Boats/SpikeIt Outdoors' 2nd place stringer was brought in by Bob Blech & Phil Hoock. Their fat 20.16 lbs bag was good enough to earn them a check for $666 + the 2nd place ShowMe Gold Bucks check for $250. The Ambush Lures 3rd place stringer was brought in by Jeff Wynn & Steve Green with a total of 16.58 lbs winning $382. 4th place went to the BAss Fishing Mafia team of Brandon Caldwell & Tim Raney with a 14.59 lbs. stringer, winning them $172. The 5th place Little Bits Country Store $25 gift certificate went to the Sparkies team of Michael Stetich & Pat Klausen with a weight of 14.19 lbs. The 6th place Little Bits Country Store Gas Pot of $19 went to the team of Post & Johnson, minus Post, with a weight of 13.30 lbs.

N2IT Cup Champions Brandon Caldwell & Tim Raney

This season's points race was battle the entire season, the the Bass Fishing Mafia team of Brandon Caldwell & Tim Raney proved that consistency is what it takes to win the N2IT Cup. They came away from the season-long points race with a check for $500 and two beautiful trophies for to brag about. Great job guys on a terrific season! Now the only question that remains is wil they be able to repeat next year or can another team knock them from the top? Final standings are posted on the Classic webpage.

ShowMe Campers & Boats presents the SpikeIt Outdoors N2IT Fishing Do Or Die Charge - September 16th, 2007

The SpikeIt Outdoors N2IT Fishing "Do or Die" Charge presented by ShowMe Campers & Boats proved to be just that as teams flourished and floundered as we put a close on the inaugral season of the N2IT Fishing Buddy Bass Series. Fishing seemed slow and tough for most of the 19 teams competing. The Bass Fishing Mafia team of Brandon Caldwell & Tim Raney, sponsered by "Second Creation Taxidermy & School", squeezed out a victory with thier 16.90 lbs sack, winning the ShowMe Campers & Boats/SpikeIt Outdoors 1st place check of $708 + $100 ShowMe Gold Bucks. The Hawg Hunters team of Doug O'smera & Steve Sergeant had to settle for the SpikeIt Outdoors 2nd place check with their 16.76 lbs bag winning them $425. The Ambush Lures 3rd place stringer was brought in by the N2IT team of Mark Rinehart & Tom Dean, sponsored by ShowMe Campers & Boats & SpikeIt Outdoors, with a sack weighing 15.60 lbs winning $283. The 4th place consolation stringer went to Wally Matt & Russell Dale with 14.96 lbs. winning a $25 Little Bits Country Store gift certificate. The 5th place Little Bits Country Store Gas Pot went to the team of Housh & Hobbie with a weight of 14.19 lbs winning $19. Jeff Blackford & Ron Thompson collect a $205 check & a $50 gift certificate for the Madden Taxidermy Big Bass Pot.

This season's points race has been a hotly contested battle. The following teams have secured their place in the field for the SpikeIt Outdoors N2IT Fishing Fall Hibernation Classic presented by ShowMe Campers & Boats, and are all eligible to compete for the first ever N2IT Cup and the ShowMe Campers & Boats Anglers of the Year pot of $455!

The Bass Fishing Mafia team of Caldwell & Raney finally chipped away at lead held by the team of Stetich & Klausen to take over 1st place in the standings. Stetich & Klausen stumbled a bit by bringing in only 3 fish for the first time all season bouncing them down to 2nd. Cooper & Otte remained within striking distance at 3rd overall with their middle of the pack performance. Team N2IT, Rinehart & Dean jumped back into contention in the 4th overall position with their strong 3rd place finish, but will need a big sack to stake their claim on the N2IT Cup. Rounding out the top 5 for the 3rd time even with their 11th place finish. Team N2IT2, Cochran & Cochran, may have seens their hopes of winning the Cup dashed with their less than par performance, dropping them to 6th overall. Standing in 7th is the team of Blecha & Hoock followed by Team Mike & Mike, O'Brien & Thomas in 8th. Both teams may have been hurt the most by the foul weather in the Let's Get It On Open by electing not to participate. The team of Matt & Dale secured the final FREE Entry into the Fall Hibernation Classic by finishing a strong 4th place. is the team of Matt & Dale with several teams looking to Ambush their play if they slip. The teams of Ayers & Ayers, O'smera & Sergeant, Murphy & Staten, Damgar & Volkmar, and Wynn & Green have gained automatic entries as well.

My apologies to Terry Cooper, Miles Otte, Harry Thompson, & John Porter for not taking their pics for their 1st & 2nd Place Finishes in the Sweat It Out Shootout.

The SpikeIt Outdoors N2IT Fishing Sweat It Out Shootout presented by ShowMe Campers & Boats tournament Kicked off with windy conditions and highs forecast in the mid 90's. The fishing though was not nearly as hot as the temps for many teams. Only 13 of the 23 boats entered brought in limits, and several boats elected to not weigh in their catches having not caught a limit. The team of Terry Cooper & Miles Otte brought in the winning stringer with a winning weight of 18.88 lbs. Their nice stringer won them the ShowMe Campers & Boats/SpikeIt Outdoors 1st place check for $866, the $100 ShowMe Gold Bucks check. The SpikeIt Outdoors' 2nd place stringer was brought in by Harry Thompson & John Porter. Their nice 17.46 lbs bag was good enough to earn them a check for $463. The Ambush Lures 3rd place stringer was brought in by Larry Stoafer & Dennnis Bowers with a total of 16.95 lbs winning $266. 4th place went to Mike O'Brien & Mike Thomas with a 16.87 lbs. stringer, winning them $120. The 5th place Little Bits Country Store $25 gift certificate went to another Bass Fishing Mafia team, Darryl Glassinger & Brent Eitel, with a weight of 16.11 lbs. A dead fish proved a little costly to the team of Bob Blecha & Phil Hoock dropping them to a 6th place finish for the Little Bits Country Store Gas Pot, with a weight of 15.76 lbs winning $23. The Madden Taxidermy Big Bass Award of $248 + a $50 Gift Certificate toward taxidermy workwent to Team N2IT Rinehart & Dean with a nice 6.02 specimen.

Team SKR (Stetich/Klausen/Rodlund) remained consistent bringing in their limit of 5 keepers, securing the lead over the field. They did drop a few points in their lead with finishing in the middle of the pack with another 12 place finish. The Bass Fishing Mafia, Caldwell/Raney, edged a little bit closer with their efforts, but not much with their 10th place finish. Cooper & Otte made a big leap in the standing with the win, vaulting them from 7th to 3rd overall in their quest to grab the Cup by winning the Sweat It Out Shootout. Team N2IT2, Cochran & Cochran, retains their 4th place position with their 7th place finish. Rounding out the top 5 again is the team of Eitel & Glassinger with a solid 5th place finish. Blecha & Hoock remain in 6th with their 6th place finish. While Team N2IT, Rinehart/Dean, fell way back to 7th with a less than par 15th place finish. Team Mike & Mike, O'Brien & Thomas have rebounded to stand in 8th, backed up by good 4th place finish. Holding on to the final FREE Entry into the Fall Hibernation Classic is the team of Matt & Dale/Edrington, with several teams looking to Ambush their play if they slip.

The SpikeIt Outdoors N2IT Fishing Summer Break Turn presented by ShowMe Campers & Boats tournament Kicked off with no wind and cool temps that eventually changed into breezy gusting winds and scattered T-storms. The fishing though seemed to be hot and wild. 17 boats of the 23 boats entered brought in limits, and only 1 boat came out empty-handed. The team of Jeff & Paul Combs brought in the winning stringer with a winnning weight of 19.04 lbs, anchored by the tournament big bass that weighed 5.93 lbs. Their nice stringer won them the ShowMe Campers & Boats/SpikeIt Outdoors 1st place check for $866, the $100 ShowMe Gold Bucks check, the Madden Taxidermy Big Bass Award of $259 + a $50 Gift Certificate toward taxidermy work. The SpikeIt Outdoors' 2nd place stringer was brought in by Jon Murphy & Cody Staten. Their nice 18.22 lbs bag was good enough to earn them a check for $463. The Ambush Lures 3rd place stringer was brought in by Bob Blecha & Phil Hoock with a total of 16.82 lbs winning $266. 4th place went to Terry Cooper & Miles Otte with a 16.75 lbs. stringer, winning them $120. The 5th place Little Bits Country Store $25 gift certificate went to team N2IT, Mark Rinehart & substitute Craig Durphy, with a weight of 16.65 lbs. The 6th place Little Bits Country Store Gas Pot went to the Bass Fishing Mafia team of Tim Raney and his son Tim, with a weight of 15.83 lbs winning $23.

Team SKR (Stetich/Klausen/Rodlund) kept their place high atop the leaderboard in their quest to be the team to win the inagural N2IT Cup with their 5 fish limit, but did give up a little breathing room with their 12th place finish. The Bass Fishing Mafia, Caldwell/Raney, edged a little bit closer in their attempt to claim the Cup with their 6th place finish. While Team N2IT, Rinehart/Dean, jumped a spot over Team N2IT2, Cochran/Cochran, with their 5th place finish. Rounding out the top 5 is the team of Eitel/Glassinger, with 2 other teams less than 100 points behind. Consistent catches of 5 fish are proving to be the way to the top of the points standing, as Team SKR is the ONLY team who has brought in limits in every tournament. ShowMe Campers & Boats presents the SpikeIt Outdoors N2IT Fishing Hawg Hunters Challenge - May 6th, 2007

The SpikeIt Outdoors N2IT Fishing Hawg Hunters Challenge presented by ShowMe Campers & Boats tournament didn't live up to its billing by showing us any HAWGS, but we did see a fair share of PIGS. Teams were met with some very severe conditions. Heavy rains and lightning delayed the start by 45 minutes and several teams either didn't show or left due to the frequent bursts of lightning. Once the tournament was under way, teams either were on the fish bringing in 5 fish limits or searching for a way to salvage somthing out of a rough day on the water. The lake rose 12-24 inches during the tournament. The N2IT2 team of Dave & Clint Cochran hawg-tied the competition with their 5 pigs weighing 21.18 lbs. Their five pigs, including the Madden Taxidermy Big Bass of 4.70 lbs., earned them the ShowMe Campers & Boats/SpikeIt Outdoors 1st place check for $709 + $100 ShowMe Gold Bucks & the Madden Taxidermy Big Bass Award of $205 + a $50 Gift Certificate toward taxidermy work! The SpikeIt Outdoors' 2nd place stringer was brought in by Jeff Blackford & Ron Thompson. Their 17.31 lbs sack edged out the next competitors by .02 lbs giving them a check for $425. The Ambush Lures 3rd place check of $283 was captured by Russell Matt & Wally Dale 17.29 lbs. This was the second time in 3 tournaments that Matt & Dale found themselves in 3rd, establishing themselves as a team to watch out for. The 4th place Little Bits Country Store $25 gift certificate went to Terry Allen & Jon Murphy with 15.93 lbs. The 5th place Little Bits Country Store Gas Pot of $19 went to team Lucky Junior, Nick & Jeff Siepker, with a weight of 15.42 lbs.

With their 1st place finish Team N2IT2 (Cochran/Cochran) vaulted into 3rd place in the season's rankings and a consistent bag of 5 fish kept Team SKR (Stetich/Klausen/Rodlund) at the top of the leaderboard for the inaugual N2IT Cup race. The SpikeIt Outdoors N2IT Fishing "Pre-Season's Over!" presented by ShowMe Campers & Boats tournament saw some slow fishing conditions.! Only 10 boats of the 24 entries brought in limits, and only 17 boats weighed fish. The Bass Fishing Mafia sponsered by "Second Creation Taxidermy & School", Brandon Caldwell & Tim Raney, mastered the competition with their fat 19.09 lbs sack. Their five footballs, averaging nearly 4 lbs per fish, won them the ShowMe Campers & Boats/SpikeIt Outdoors 1st place checks for $904 + $100 ShowMe Gold Bucks! SpikeIt Outdoors' 2nd place stringer was brought in by Bob Blecha & Gary Ewing. Ttheir healthy 17.25 lbs catch earned them a check for $483. The Ambush Lures 3rd place stringer was brought in by Mike O'Brien & Mike Thomas with a total of 15.94 lbs winning $278. 4th place went to Michael Stetich & Pat Klausen with 15.40 lbs. winning $125. The 5th place Little Bits Country Store $25 gift certificate went to Kyle Uptegrove & Joe Azbil with a weight of 13.43 lbs. The inaugural tournament for the SpikeIt Outdoors N2IT Buddy Bass Series presented by ShowMe Campers & Boats saw its share of severe weather conditions. The day before storms blew through with sustained winds in excess of 30 mph. Due to weather conditions, several teams chose not to compete and transferred their entry fees to the next tournament. The 19 teams that did compete found winds that had died down and shifted direction from the previous day to allow for good fishing on the west side of the lake. The ShowMe Campers & Boats/SpikeIt Outdoors winning stringer was brought in by Jeff Wynn & Steve Green with a total of 18.41 lbs winning $708 + $100 ShowMe Gold Bucks and $205 for the Madden Taxidermy Big Bass of 6.59 lbs. The SpikeIt Outdoors 2nd place stringer was brought in by Michael Stetich & Dan Rodlund with a total of 17.63lbs winning $425. The Ambush Lures 3rd place stringer was brought in by Russell Matt & Wally Dale with a total of 17.24 lbs winning $283. The 4th place consolation stringer went to Chris Maland & Mike VanHonton with 16.85 lbs. winning a $25 Little Bits Country Store gift certificate. The 5th place Little Bits Country Store Gas Pot went to Harry Thompson & John Porter with a weight of 16.64 lbs winning $19.
