Welcome to the 2010 Buddy Bass Series presented by About Us Now in our 4th season, N2IT FISHING has paid out over $30,000 in cash and prizes. Founded by Mark Rinehart while combining a late night of insomnia with Dave Cochran’s personalized licence plate, INTOIT. While tournament fishing in 2005 & 6, we began to become frustrated with the long distances we had to travel for tournaments with small payouts. With the rising cost of fuel, we just knew that we had to do something to preserve our treasured time fishing in quality tournaments. With the help of Dave’s son, Clint Cochran, we began to discuss starting our own tournament series. After several ideas were thrown around we decided that the best place in Missouri to hold a tournament had to be Mozingo Lake, centrally located to Kansas City, Omaha, Des Moines, St. Joseph, and Topeka, in Maryville. We had fished a lot of tournaments on Mozingo Lake, some successful and some not so successful, but it always seemed like the biggest sacks were weighed in at Mozingo. Every tournament we've fished at Mozingo over the last 3-4 years, we knew that we'd have to have at least 15 lbs. to even be competitive and 18 lbs. to have a chance at winning any money. With that in mind, we decided that we would challenge all comers to a season long tournament series on the BEST SACK LAKE IN MO. The N2IT Buddy Bass Series was setup to challenge every team during several distinctive seasonal patterns: Early Spring, Pre-Spawn, Spawn, Post Spawn, Summer, Summer/Fall Staging, and Fall. Knowing that it would not be fair for anyone of us to run the N2IT BUDDY BASS SERIES and fish at the same time, we selected the Maryville Bass Club’s President, Tim Jackson, to be the Commissioner of N2IT Fishing LLC. Clint, Dave, and myself have known Tim for over 10 years, and the one thing that we know, and anyone else who knows Tim, is that he is fair and unbending in his decisions. We felt these to be the most important qualities to have in the person who we selected as the Tournament Commissioner. Our goal is to provide our fellow anglers with a fun, exciting, and memorable fishing tournament experience that will want them to keep coming back year after year!
